Obituary of La Kenya Uganda Jackson

La Kenya Jackson was born on August 11, 1969 to Inez Jean Simmonsia and Roy Jackson Jr. in San Francisco, California. La Kenya is the oldest of three children, her younger brother Roy Jackson III and their younger sister Tanzania Jackson. Raised in Los Angeles through her young life, La Kenya had always been an that person that person you could always seek advice and wisdom from; she could listen to you for hours and know exactly what to say. She was everyone's sister and friend. A rebel with class and deep comprehension, you might say. In 1988, La Kenya graduated from Palisades High School in Los Angeles and came to Santa Rosa, California to attend Santa Rosa Junior College in 1997. At the bright and knowledgeable age of 28, La Kenya had given birth to Jean LaRoy Jackson. Still a dedicated student, she'd earned her degree as an RNA/CNA (Nurse's Assistant) while working at large establishments such as Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and even neighborhoods like Billionaire Row in San Francisco, California. In 2001, after graduating from Santa Rosa Junior College, La Kenya had brought a new life into the world; Kendal Tavon Hammond. La Kenya was always noted as the hardest worker, the most passionate about anything she set her mind to and a lot of people who know her will tell you that she had the kind of confidence and strength no one, no situation could bring or tear down.
