The years of our life are fleeting. Without intervention, we would all say goodbye to those we love, or they would say goodbye to us. Wonderfully, God has promised to intervene. “With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:3, 4) God will destroy death and remove the pain it has caused by restoring those who have died back to life. Yes, it will be like he wiped the tears from our eyes, when we are reunited with those we love. I am very sorry for your loss.
Jean was an absolutely lovely woman who embraced life to the fullest. I have fond memories of holiday celebrations with the whole Miller clan. Big hugs to Jo, Duke and Janine. We will all miss her intellect and passion for improving her community.
To the loved ones of Ms. Miller, I’m so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how you must feel. I have found comfort in scriptures like Job 14:14,15 which remind me that God cares so deeply for us that he yearns for the day when he will bring us back to life on earth (John 5:28, 29). These words fill me with the hope of seeing again the ones that I have lost. I hope that these words bring you comfort as well.
