My sincere condolences to the family. My father was Henry Fischer’s brother, Ben Fischer, and although we lived in the Philippines and rarely got to the US, I recall vividly Aunt Edna’s warmth and enthusiasm at the family “M and D” gatherings in my earlier years.
My love to all family members.
We moved Ana down from her beloved home 5 years ago from Bayside to Fairfield. She became part of my day from that point on. We made crafts on Mondays played Uno until her eyesight failed her. She enjoyed winning. She would cheer for the A’s and always looked forward to base ball season. I am a Giants fan so there was a rivalry. She was stubborn and lively. She enjoyed her great and great great grand kids so much. It was all about the kids! Fresh flowers and See’s candy were two of her favorite things. There was a steady supply of both. I will miss her dearly. Grandma’s are very special and she certainly was.
