Norma passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her amazingly caring and loving husband Don Davis, her two sons Gary Orndorff (Sheryl), Dave Orndorff, daughter Sue Shuell (Ken), step-daughter Kelly Senior (John), her four granddaughters Andrea Emerson (Keith), Robin O'Connor (Ryan), Holly Maddocks (Billy), Karina Orndorff, and two great-grandsons Lance and Andrew Emerson as well as many wonderful extended family members and very special friends.
Norma was born and raised in San Francisco, a city she loved. After marriage and three children they moved in 1968 to Sebastopol, where she planted her roots and raised her family. She began working at Forestville Elementary School, secretary and yard duty, which she enjoyed, she joined a sorority and later became involved in Eve Martinelli's art group which brought her much joy, accomplishments and lifelong friends. Her talent and passion for art have supplied many with beautiful paintings and memories to cherish forever. She loved her pretty flowers, filling her yard with color, beauty, butterflies and hummingbirds. Where ever Norma went she always had a smile and a hello for you. Her loving personality was a gift to many that she could make a friendship that would last a lifetime. Most of all she loved being with her wonderful husband Don, her very close family, her wonderful caring friends and her loyal pup Ringo, she was grateful for everyone in her life. She will be truly missed by so many -but her smile and love will live forever in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life gathering at her daughters Sue's home July 14, 2018 at 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations to The Lupus Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
