Obituary of Carmen Leon Guerrero
Carmen Leon Guerrero, after 63 years of flooding the world with love, laughs, dance moves, and smiles, departed this world on 19 Feb, 2018 to be with the Lord. From her perch she is watching over us, and will continue her presence in all our lives. Since her body could no longer contain her vibrant spirit, she departed to a larger dance floor. The youngest of seven children, she was born July 16, 1954 in Agat, Guam. She grew up on the island of Guam and graduated from George Washington High School in 1972. She moved from Guam to Santa Rosa in 1978, where she spent the rest of her life. With some higher education, an iron will, an indomitable spirit, and a work ethic that makes a mule blush, she fashioned a 39-year career for herself in the computer programming industry. She loved her neighborhood, church, and family. She enjoyed walks in Annadel and going to the casino playground with her family. She was a surrogate mother to many and welcomed all to her home with her generosity where there was always a place to stay, movies , music , dance, food and laughs to raise your spirits. Her smile and laughter were infectious and she was greatly loved by and will be missed by many. We love you, Ma.
