Obituary of Robert Burneson
BURNESON, Robert H. Age 90. Born June 28, 1927, Saint Louis Missouri. Passed September 24, 2017, Santa Rosa, CA. Survived by wife: Pricilla A. Burneson, son Michael V. Burneson, daughter Paula LaVasque and family. Robert had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert served in the US Army during World War II and was entitled to the Bronze Star for his participation in the Italian campaign. Robert then enlisted in the US Air Force where he would rise to the rank of Master Sergeant. Robert served from London England to Harrison Arkansas to Cape Lisburne Alaska. These were just a few of his duty stations he served during his career. Robert came to Napa California in 1960 and worked for Syar Industries until he retired in the 1980s. Robert loved to fish and had many friends from Sebastopol he fished with for salmon for many years. A memorial service will be held Thursday November 2, 2017, 3:30 p.m., Eggen & Lance Chapel, 1540 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa CA. A reception to follow at the Steele Lane Community Center, 415 Steele Ln. S.R..
