Passed away peacefully at home and is now in the hands of our Lord. Born in Susanville CA, his family then moved to Oroville in 1951. After graduating from OHS in 1964, Dan started his grocery career by working at local markets. In 1976 he moved to Santa Rosa where he worked at Petrini’s Market. He later retired from Safeway in 2001 after 40 years in the business. He is survived by his wife Cathy of 31 years, brother Mike (Karen), children Dana Gleason, Gene Gleason, Jonna Harris (Max) and step-son Tim Pallas (Michelle), his eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. Brothers in law, Buzz Bozzini (Cookie), Mike Bozzini. Dan enjoyed bowling, playing poker, raising champion Bullmastiffs and traveling the world with Cathy. Their love for travelling found them vacationing throughout all 50 states, every Province of Canada and a few cruises. Being avid baseball fans, they enjoyed a game in every major league baseball park. Viewing will be on Monday, February 6th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Santa Rosa Memorial Park & Crematory, 1900 Franklin Ave, Santa Rosa.
