It is with deep sadness and pain that our family must announce the passing of Jamie Lee Aston Martin at the age of 38. Jamie was born to William (Tom) and Gaye Martin on December 28, 1982 in Santa Rosa, CA. She is survived by her sister, Tiffany Collver; brother, Dylan Martin; brother-in-law, Mike Collver; her grandparents, Eugene and Bonnie Williams and Irene Martin; and nieces, Abigail Collver and Madison Martin; nephew, Owen Collver; also lots of cousins, aunts and uncles to numerous to list, she loved them all. Jamie has four beautiful children she loved with all her heart, Rylee and Wyatt Bernier, Otto Wilker and Jaeger Freeman. Jamie was beautiful and when she laughed you couldn't help but laugh along, she was funny. Growing up, Jamie was a free spirit and dreamer. She wanted to travel. She wanted to be famous and her imagination was grand. We loved her so very much. We all only wished she could find peace in life. Jamie was raised in Healdsburg, California She graduated from Healdsburg High School and went on to beauty school, she was a talented hair stylist. For approximately the last 15 years she battled a horrible mental illness that blindsided all of us. Although it was tough, we loved her and wanted to do anything to help her. As we sit and look through pictures we have decided we want her to be remembered before these dark last 15 years, as the sweet, blued eyed beautiful wild child that she was, but we are also wanting to raise awareness of the need for mental health policy change, it is so very needed. Please pay attention to mental health initiatives on your ballots and in lieu of flowers please write your congressman, local representatives, Senators, Governor and President for mental health change. No one should have to suffer mental illness alone and right now in our country our streets are lined with people in need, these people are invisible, we can make them visible by pushing for change. A memorial service will be held on March 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at 10611 Old Redwood Hwy., Windsor, CA. Jaime will be placed to rest at the Shiloh Windsor District Cemetery.
