The goods and services shown are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangement you choose will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide, describing the funeral goods and services selected.
These packages have selected services bundled for your convenience and are only available if all merchandise is selected from Santa Rosa Mortuary, Eggen & Lance Chapel. If your specific needs do not fall into one of these packages, your requested services will be itemized for you. The Reception hall is free in certain packages and the charge will not be reflected in the stated price.
(Veterans will receive a discount of $200.00 for burial packages and $100.00 For cremation services. Honorable discharge papers must be presented *not valid for pre-arrangements. )

This charge includes the basic services of the Funeral Director, local transfer of the decedent, cremation fee, refrigeration. Filing all paperwork with the state and county, notifying social security, obtaining the death certificate and California state permit. This fee does not include cash advances, the cremation container, specialty urn, preparation of remains, public viewing, visitation or funeral ceremony. You may furnish an alternative cremation container, which must encase the body and be made of materials such as wood, fiberboard or composition materials. (with or without covering).

This is an option that will allow the families to have the services within the comfort of their own home. Eggen & Lance will take your loved one into our care, prepare your loved one for an “in home” service. The preparation process consists of gently washing your loved one, dressing, refrigeration and dry ice. We will then transport your loved one to the home. We will supply the transportation to and from each location, the family does the service on their own in the comfort of their home. We will then come back to the house the next day and transport your loved one to a local cemetery that offers green burials. Savings of $870.00
Going Home package with cremation… $4,460 (Does not include graveside)
Different from the traditional funeral, this contemporary funeral package allows the family to personalize their services with the convenience of using our facility and staff. This package includes our basic services of the funeral director and staff, local transportation from the place of passing, preparation of your loved one for a visitation, washing, refrigeration, dry ice for visitation, dressing, two hours of visitation the funeral ceremony, transportation to a local
cemetery, and the final green burial committal ceremony. Discount of $970.00
We have put this package together for those who are going the more contemporary funeral route. More often we are
seeing more personalized services from the families. This package includes our basic services of the funeral director and staff, local transportation from the place of passing, preparation of your loved one for a visitation, washing, refrigeration, dry ice for visitation, dressing, three hours of visitation, use of our reception facility, transportation to a local cemetery, and the final green burial committal ceremony. Discount of $700.00
With contemporary services becoming more popular, we have a package that meets the needs of those families that want to have the green burial but have a service “In Memory” of their loved one. The green burial will take place first, then after or later, the memorial service can take place. This package includes our basic services of the funeral director and staff, local transportation from the place of passing, preparation of your loved one, washing, refrigeration, dressing, transportation to a local cemetery, and the final green burial committal ceremony, use of our facility for a
memorial service and reception hall. Discount of $1,310.00
It is not uncommon to have a simple committal service at the location of your loved one’s final resting place. This package includes our basic services of the funeral director and staff, local transportation from the place of passing, preparation of your loved one, washing, refrigeration, dressing, transportation to a local cemetery, and the final green burial committal ceremony. Discount of $995.00
You are allowed to substitute refrigeration, dry ice and washing for Ecobalming.**

Non-Declinable Services of Funeral Director & Staff – $2,495
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains. This fee includes: arrangement conference; preparation of death certificate; 24 hour on-call; preparation of permit; coordination of cemetery and/or crematory services; common carrier arrangements; clergy arrangement; notification to social security; clerical and administrative duties; coordination of outside services; a portion of this fee is used for overhead.
Embalming – $695
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as funeral with prolonged visitation or transporting through a commercial airline. Some cemeteries require embalming for select areas of their property. If you do not want embalming, you have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it.
