With deep love, we announce the passing of Richard Emil Ivaldi, known to family and friends as Rich, who passed away July 10, 2026, in Santa Rosa, California, at the age of 80.
Rich was born May 18, 1946, in Oakland, California, to Andrew and Jeanne Ivaldi. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and carried that same dedication and strong work ethic throughout his life. He took great pride in his work, eventually owning his own company and building a life defined by determination, independence, and doing things his own way.
Rich loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and treasured the memories made along the way.
Above all, Rich was a loving father and grandfather, affectionately known as Poppy. He is survived by his three children, Richard, Danny, and Denae; his seven grandchildren, Hunter, Callie, Boden, Eli, Andrew, Jacob, and Brynlee; and his Ex-wife, Denise Ivaldi.
Rich will be remembered for his strength, independence, hard work, love of the outdoors, and the lasting memories he created with those who loved him.
He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
