Patricia”Patti” Foster

November 4, 1953 – April 9, 2024

On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, Patricia K. Foster went home to be with Jesus. Her family was with her as she passed from earth to glory.

Patti was born November 4, 1953 to Bob and Elaine Johnson at San Francisco General Hospital.

A graduate of Washington High School, Fremont with some time spent at Ohlone College. She was now prepared for the many different jobs in her life. She did babysitting, and worked for her Dad at Goetz Brothers music and sporting goods in Redwood City. She worked for Raychem Corporation as manager of the department that made O rings for rockets. She was a school Administrator for John Mark Christian school from 1987-89. She spent 26 years working for Farmers Insurance under Louis Jenkins and Steve Kiddo. Finally she got to do her dream job which was actually a source of ministry for her. She worked at Romano’s Mortuary until it was sold and then on to Funeral Arranger for Fred Young Funeral Home. She managed two locations. One in Healdsburg and one in Cloverdale. She had high regard for Ernie Frandson and look at him as her mentor.

She loved her work and had a servants heart for the many people that came to her for guidance through the difficult time of loosing a loved one.

She had many different organizations that she did volunteer work for. She was Forperson for the Sonoma County Grand Jury, 95-96. She was three years as Chairperson for Relay for Life with her last year getting the highest donation total for that area. She was Chairperson for Shiloh District Cemetery for several years. She had a servants heart and wanted to serve her community and County that she lived in and loved so much.

One of her hobbies, besides re-arranging the furniture, which would happen often in our home, was knitting hats. She knit close to two hundred hats over a two year period that went to Operation Christmas Child. The last 60+ hats were given to children in Romania through an outreach ministry called Ministry 4 Kidz.

She is survived by her brothers Michael, wife Carolyn, Johannson and K.C., wife Lucinda Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews. She was a wife of almost 49yrs to Allan, Mother to our Daughter Amy, husband Michael Dale, our Son Rob, wife Emily Foster. She was Granny to Jeffery Sean Dale and two special grand dogs, Pokey and Teddy.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Because we know that she is at home with Jesus, we don’t say goodbye but,
