Jameson Joseph Delatorre
January 15, 1986 – September 24, 2024
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jameson “Jamo” Delatorre, who left us far too soon on September 24, 2024. Jameson could turn the simplest story into an unforgettable tale. His ability to recall movie lines, obscure dates or the simple sharing of a joke were hallmarks to his entertaining personality.
Jameson was a dedicated football fan, having played in youth through high school at Piner. Friendships forged on the field continued for decades. Just days after graduating, he embarked on a long-standing career with Maples Plumbing, later working with and spending his last years at J.E. Brown. His work ethic was a significant part of who he was, earning the respect and friendship of many coworkers.
Patriotic to the core, Jameson had passion for fishing, a favorite activity he could enjoy with a friend, a sibling, or in solitude. His love for socializing could be accomplished by attending Giants games, NASCAR, rocking out to music, or grilling something on the BBQ. Jameson found contentment in the simplest of activities.
Jameson leaves behind his parents, Heidi and Tim, brothers Jon and Joshua, and sisters Sarah Bowen, Jamie Tuckey, and Leah Morrow. He will be forever remembered by his grandmothers, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew. His family holds him as one who was the life of the party, enthusiastic about his hobbies, and always ready to share a drink and relive the good old days.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor on October 11th at 3:30 pm, where friends and family will gather to share stories and commemorate the joy he brought into their lives. Jameson’s zest for life and his unyielding spirit will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
