James “Jim” Morrissy

2/24/1950 – 10/13/2024

James “Jim” Patrick Morrissy was born in Chicago, Illinois and was the eldest of five. He grew

up on the southside of Chicago and loved to be mischievous. Jim served in the US Army

during the Vietnam era. After his time in the Army, while looking up an old Army buddy in

California he met his Wife / Partner, Priscilla. They called Sonoma County home and

raised their three children mostly in Santa Rosa, Ca. He served his community as the owner

of Harmony Electric for over 20 years. He loved to sing and was a member of the Saint

Eugene’s Church choir for two decades. Later in life, Jim practiced Aikido martial arts and

earned an orange belt. After his retirement, he enjoyed interacting with his seven

grandchildren and his nieces/nephews. He is survived by his partner, Priscilla, his children

Andrea (David), Brian (Jaime), Daniel (Katie); his grandchildren Emily, Amanda, Andrew,

Michael, Kaitlyn, Rexton & Abigail; his siblings Tom (Marilyn), John, Eileen and Joan. A

celebration of life will be held at Bennett Valley Golf Course on Saturday, November

9th from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
