GERRY M. PACITTI
August 26, 1956 – May 16, 2025
PACITTI, GERRY M, 68, of Glen Ellen, CA, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife, Patty, by his side on Friday, May 16, 2025.
He was born on August 26, 1956.
Gerry deeply loved his family and friends and gave everyone he met a friendly hello with a warm smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. He was well liked by everyone who met him, making each person immediately feel like a cherished friend.
Gerry grew up in Lansdowne, PA, in the middle of a family of 10, and was the family’s humorist who kept his siblings and parents laughing with his quick and hilarious wit. He was a talented guitar player and enjoyed jamming with friends and family over the years. He lived with his wife, Patty, in beautiful places, like Maui and the Wine Country of California and enjoyed many years of travel whenever work would allow. Gerry had the most caring heart and was the most loving son and husband, and deeply loved by his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends and will be sadly missed.
Gerry spent most of his career working in radio; most recently at NorCal’s KRCB Television, where he spent almost 20 years in general support roles as well as Co-Producer and Audio Producer of KCRB Live. He also worked in audio engineering for Susquehanna Radio that included work with KFOG, KNBR, KSAN and KTCT. Gerry loved all genres of music. He had his own radio show and shared that love with his audience. His vinyl collection of over 400 albums was one of his valued treasures.
Gerry had other talents too. For a time, while living on Maui, he was a house painter and even worked on George Harrison’s home!
Gerry is predeceased by his father, Fred N.; and mother, Roseanne: one brother, Christopher N Pacitti; and one niece, Roseann Padula.
Survivors include his wife, Patty; eight siblings: Steve Pacitti and wife Toni of Loudon, TN; Madeline Swartz and husband Ken of Readington, NJ; Anita Colahan and husband Richard of Upper Black Eddy, PA; Martha Morowitz and husband Cory of Philadelphia, PA; Regina Lojpersberger and husband David of Brigantine, NJ; Nick Pacitti of Brigantine NJ; Tom Pacitti and wife Kim of Northfield, NJ; and Kate Neustadter and husband Mark of Margate, NJ.
