Manuel Beltran Carrera

Manuel Carrera, 92, of Santa Rosa, California, passed away on Monday June 26th, 2023 peacefully surrounded by his loved ones.
Manuel was born on October 23, 1930 to Francisco Carrera and Aurora Beltran Carrera in Dallas, Texas. At a young age, Manuel met his wife Maria Morales and they went on to have a family of nine children.
Manuel lived a long happy life spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved fishing and cheering on the San Francisco Giants. He also enjoyed devoting his time to the bible and prayer.
Growing up as a hard working cattle rancher, Manuel thrived on his need for adventure and his love for fishing. He traveled with his loving wife and children all over the United States to fish in some of the best lakes and rivers that this country had to offer. In addition to looking for his next big catch he spent his time at home cheering on the San Francisco Giants betting on their next win.
As his family grew and grew, Manuel and Maria settled in Santa Rosa, California spending their time gardening and relaxing with family. He loved to sit with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren sharing all kinds of stories putting a smile on everyone’s face.
Manuel is predeceased by his parents; Francisco Carrera and Aurora Beltran Carrera and his two sons; Norbert Carrera and Anthony Carrera. He is survived by his wife; Maria Carrera, his seven children; Aurora (Mariano) Huerta, Carmen Carrera (Victor), Servando Carrera, Manuel Jr. Carrera, Minerva (Jim) Singh, Yolanda (Robert) Smith, Rose (James) Loera, his thirteen grandchildren; Miguel (Megan) O’Huerta, Victoria (Jeremy) Huerta-Miller, Jessica Peterson, Erica Peterson, Michele Carrera, Nicholas Carrera, Michael Carrera, Michael Singh, Jasdeep Singh, Shawn Singh, Ashley Walter, Aubrey Smith and Milissa Floripe, his twelve great grandchildren; Hayden, Mina, Myles, Mia, Maysen, Mackenzie, Esperansa, Adeli Jr., Treyveonne, Arya, Kingston and Leonardo.
Service will be held at St. Eugene Church in Santa Rosa, California on Thursday June 29th, 2023. The celebration of life will include a special Rosary at 10:30am and church service at 11:00am followed by a reception.
