Roberta Lee Woodward passed away in Petaluma on October 14, 2017 at the age of 90.
Roberta was born Roberta Lee Eutsler on January 12, 1927 in Abesville, Stone County, Missouri, to Walter E. and Lily “Pearl” Eutsler, the youngest of 3 children.
Roberta graduated from Hurley High School in Hurley, Missouri, in 1943 and in April, 1944 was married to Darrell Owens. Two daughter were born in this union, Judy Lee in 1945, and Rita Carol in 1949. Darrell died in 1950 as the result of an automobile accident. Roberta later married Earl Allen Woodward in 1960 and they had one son, David Allen who was born in 1962.
Roberta heard the Gospel in Feather Falls, CA and made her choice to serve God in Gospel meetings held by Dan Hilton in 1949. Her first convention was in Orick, CA in 1951. She continued to serve God faithfully until her death. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gerald and Lowell; son-in-law Rich Brittain; and 3 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Earl; daughter, Judy Nowell and her husband Ronnie of Oroville, CA; daughter, Rita Brittain of Santa Rosa, CA; son, David and his wife, Bernitta of Chico, CA; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grand children; and 3 great-great grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. Her inclusive love and care will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know our wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her counsel and tease were sought out by the multiple generations that she influenced and they will be missed but remembered.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1:00PM at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, 1900 Franklin Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA. Visitation will be between 11:00AM - 1:00PM.
