Wilma C. Thomas passed away on July 7, 2016 from a massive stroke. She was born on August 14, 1927 in Hemet, CA to Edward M. and Pauline S. Chadwell, R.N. Wilma grew up in Aromas, CA, where her parents had an apricot ranch. She attended San Benito Junior College and Lux College. In 1952, Wilma moved to Healdsburg and was a dental assistant for Dr. Phillip Cadosi. She was active in the Healdsburg Church of Christ, Garden Club, Senior Center, and Retired Teachers. Wilma is survived by her sister, Bonniejean Morgan of Point Arena, CA; nephews, Max Morgan (Sylvia) of Corpus Christi, TX; Wayne Morgan of Garden Valley, CA; Arthur Chadwell (Chris) of Lakeland, FL; Edward Chadwell (Elaine) of Chipley, FL; and her niece, Ann Morgan of Healdsburg, CA. Wilma also leaves behind many grand and great-grandnieces and nephews. She dearly loved her in-laws, the Thomas family of Alabama. Wilma had many dear friends, who will miss her greatly. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her dear husband, James W. Thomas; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Eleanor Chadwell; and brother-in-law, Fred H. Morgan. The family would like to thank Dr. Rachel A. Mayorga, Healdsburg Senior Living, Healdsburg District Hospital and their respectful, caring staffs. There will be no services at Wilma’s request.
