In the early hours of March 12, 2016, at the age of 59, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family, Lynn passed away after nearly two-years battling with cancer. Lynn Kracker, a lifelong Sonoma County resident, was born at Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, California on October 23, 1956. She was the second child of Janet Yolo-Daveiro and Charlie Yolo. Lynn was a warm, genuine, and easy-going person who made friends wherever she went. A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Dairy Science, her unwavering passion for animals began at a young age. At the age of 12 what started, as a 4-H project transformed into a lifelong devotion. Lynn spent much of her life helping others and was an active member in the community. She was a 4-H leader, member of the North Bay Dairy Women, director of the Sonoma-Marin Cattlemen’s Association, and El Molino Ag Booster President. She mentored countless young members of the Agriculture industry and could almost always be found ringside during fair season visiting, laughing, and enjoying the show. An avid fan, there was always a football game playing on the TV. Her family and friends were her highest priorities. She would do anything to help those she loved and treasured her close-knit family and circle of cherished friends. Her laugh and welcoming disposition were infectious and will be incredibly missed. Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Yolo, step-father, Jack Daveiro; as well as her in-laws, Ralph and Avie Kracker. She is survived by her husband, Chuck, two daughters Becca and Janet ; as well as her mother, Janet Yolo-Daveiro. She is also survived by her sister Rachel Wentworth (the late Jim), brother Charles ‘Duke’ Yolo (Terri), sister-in-law Lori Linde (John) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 25th at 12:30 pm located at the Doubletree Hotel; One Doubletree Drive, Rohnert Park, California, 94928. In lieu of flowers the family suggests making a donation to a charity of your choice.
