Born August 26, 1918 in Burney, California, passed away surrounded by family, on January 31, 2017 after a short illness. Howard lived most of his life in Northern California and over 30 years in Sonoma County. He was instrumental in growing the agricultural industry through his presidency of what was then North Bay Production Credit Association, now American Ag Credit. He is predeceased by three wives and three of thirteen children. Howard took great joy in his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who learned from his wisdom and humor. He was an avid supporter of Redwood Adventist Academy, as a Board Member and a financial contributor, and helped found and supported the Terrace Neighborhood Community Garden at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Healdsburg. A Celebration of Life service will be held February 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Healdsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church on Terrace Boulevard and streamed at https://livestream.com/healdsburgsda.
