Betty J. Clarke went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with pneumonia. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Donald Clarke, who passed away on September 30, 2016. They were married for 28 years. Betty was born in Conroe, TX and moved to Quincy, CA with her parents while in her teens. She and her first husband, Robert Myers, moved to Santa Rosa in 1964 with their daughter, Nan. In the early 1980’s they formed Century-21 Adobe. After Robert’s death, Betty continued brokering the business ultimately merging with other offices to form C-21 Northbay Alliance. She and Don, also a realtor, spent their retirement years traveling the world and enjoying their country home tending to their amazing gardens. Betty enjoyed getting together with family for special occasions always bringing with her that captivating smile. She and Don loved their two Bichon puppies which they took with them pretty much everywhere.
She is survived by her daughter, Nan Pannell (Dan); grandchildren: Debbie Hegardt, Jeff Pannell (Katie), Nick Pannell (Stephanie); great grandchildren: Maddison Hegardt, Ben Hegardt, Alexa Pannell, and Tyler Pannell. She is also survived by her step children: Diana Carpenter (Jay), Ginger Clarke (Larry), David Clarke (Sue), and several step granchildren.
The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, that donations in her honor be made to Sonoma County Humane Society. A private memorial will be held.
